We’re lucky enough to work in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. So when Poole Tourism called to see if we could profile all that the area has to offer we got to work straight away and the revenue effects all round were extraordinary.

Any good tourism office knows that to help generate revenue in their area is to inspire tourists and locals to try out all of the activities the postcode has to offer. Years of designing materials as and when they were needed had led to a diverse and inconsistent package to hand out to visitors. A total revamp was in order, of course with our Halo Effect.

Bringing in photographers and models, we co-ordinated and art directed multiple shoots to capture the local area with aerial images, close ups and lifestyle shots.

When reviewing the wealth of materials provided by the Poole Tourism, it was obvious that we could expand the collection of leaflets to draw tourists back so we broadened the range  to introduce our ‘Boomerang’ holiday maker concept, encouraging people to return when looking at all of the options available to them to spend as little as £10 per day up to £1,000.

Creating a cohesive design to run across all of the various titles they provided to attract tourist revenue was our brief, but by the end of it we had an extra special compliment to our work; Poole Tourism relies heavily on sponsorship from local companies to provide the services that they offer. Being able to show a consistent and well thought out marketing structure and well designed set of literature to prospective advertisers saw a rise in confidence in their brand. Consequently more and more advertisers have signed up – proud to support Poole Tourism and we’re even prouder to have achieved this effect for them through good solid passionate design.
