Brand Creation, Design & Packaging

With six births in fewer years at the Halo office we know a thing or two about mothers and their shopping habits. We started working with Organix right from the start in 1992 when it was just a group of us sitting around discussing life and musing about the fact that there wasn’t an organic option at all for pure baby food.

Bringing the first ever organic food to market introduced a whole new concept and sector of baby food and one that needed to be packaged and marketed correctly and as quickly as possible. Over the past twenty years we’ve been there every step of the way adapting the design to suit buying trends and ensuring product development in all stages of baby life.

Every image shot shows wholesome, tasty food filled with natural goodness. The simple colour scheme reflects the organic home grown nature of the food whilst taking nothing from the product inside. Ensuring that their baby is fed correctly to ensure their growth and health is at the optimum level is on every new mum’s mind which is why, when they’ve found a food that ticks all of the boxes they will generally be the most loyal customers you could ever have. That’s why we developed the packaging to answer all of the unspoken questions that a mother would have whilst standing in the supermarket aisle.

Designing the website for Organix meant having access to the food information on there as standard but to really cement their place in the market we constructed a site that was editorially rich in content that families could go on and trust. With a bank of recipes and bags of advice on feeding and helpful tips to help food times be successful right through from weaning to normal food, the site has become a knowledge base that families can trust.

However, the story doesn’t stop there – when we realised that our customer base was literally crawling out of the door we developed Goodies.
