Art directing a shoot and designing a following marketing campaign for a company as large and geographically varied as Haven with all of its 34 Park’s own individual marketing needs to be covered is no mean feat. Fortunately we applied our Halo Effect and exceeded their expectations on the objectives.
We’ve worked with Haven now for the past four years and in that time, completely revamped their image library to show off their Parks in a modern but friendly way whilst giving them a bank of photography that we can then draw from all year long to create all of their marketing concepts. We love rising to this in-depth challenge and making each year different to the last.
To give Haven the full Halo Effect, requires working very closely with their marketing team as it’s crucial that we understand the concepts of what areas they are wanting to promote in their upcoming season and we give them our full Halo Effect experience. After they’ve explained what’s worked really well for them, and what they need to expand and focus on, we create a detailed brief to capture the imagery needed to best promote their services and create an image bank for our design team.
That’s when the fun begins. About three months beforehand we scope the landscapes of their specified Parks to define best shooting times of day, styles, potential angles. When we have drawn up our concept for the shoot we then hire models, style their wardrobes and source props as well as taking care of our photographers to ensure that the week long shoot runs as smoothly and effectively as possible.
With the shoot results in and edited down by us and approved by Haven, our design team then gets to work on producing the artwork for the respective sites, restaurants and marketing materials used throughout the year – from mail outs to brochures and advertisements.
Consistency and style is key to carry out their requirements across the country. It takes a lot of scratching our geeky heads to get it just right. It’s always worth it in the end and we feel very proud of our work with them.
