Feather & Black
Multi-platform rebranding
At Halo we love getting our teeth stuck into all angles of a project. So when Feather & Black called us up with the ultimate multi-platform re-branding job we couldn’t wait to get started.
People who appreciate luxury and style will always aspire to it. However, in a difficult economic climate, Feather & Black knew that their brand would have to work even harder to encourage people to part with their money to purchase luxurious items for their homes. To achieve this they decided to initiate a complete re-design across all 36 stores, website and mail order business.
Working closely with them on their brand values, and also, very importantly, where they saw themselves to be positioned within six months and a year, we started to develop key elements that needed to be incorporated into the design of their logo, website and subsequent brochures.
Getting their potential customers to imagine owning the Feather & Black products in their own home was key. We then profiled key products to style and shoot for the brochure and website to arouse feelings of luxury in the home, beautifully styled by interior designers to build the entire concept. When coordinating the shoot we shot more than was initially required to enable us to build a comprehensive image bank to be used in all of their corresponding marketing materials throughout the year.
With the design tone approved, copy written and the marketing plan signed off for the following six months, work could then begin on the 36 Feather & Black stores. Corresponding artwork seen on all of the visuals in store was the icing on the cake to ensure consistency throughout their design in their stores, website and brochures.
Applying our thorough Halo Effect to the project as a whole ensure that Feather & Black have continued to rely on Halo to raise their sales through design ever since.
